Context

Most colour themes ship one palette and hope your eyes agree. I wanted a theme family where every pairing of text and surface passes a contrast check, and where changing the accent does not quietly break that.

What I built

Chromaleon: 22 themes with a matching icon theme and a changeable accent. The customizer runs inside VS Code as a Preact webview, previews a change live, flags any token pair that falls below the contrast threshold and fixes it in one click.

Outcome

A published extension on the VS Code Marketplace, and a design system discipline (tokens, contrast checks, both modes) that this site borrows from.
